| Keys recovered from Hurricane Mitch .Upper Key Largo from MM 102-106 was battered by Hurricane mitch with the appearance of several tornadoes. Some homes in Buccanneer Point sustained roof damage from the 55 + mph winds. I'm glad to say that everything is back to normal- if you could call the Keys normal, and we're ready for a great winter season | |

If you don't like the weather where you are in the Keys, just go down the road a little. The Keys are very different from Miami & the rest of Florida. Most of the time even our weather is different. We're cooler in the summer & warmer in the winter than the mainland. |
